Job summary

AARP Foundation seeks a Director, Program Operations to oversee the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). You will lead cross-functional teams, implement program strategies, and optimize processes to support the organization’s mission of helping older adults achieve financial resilience.

The role requires strong leadership, PMO expertise, and a track record in operational excellence, procurement, and regulatory compliance within a hybrid work environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in operations, procurement, and project management.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience with PMO frameworks and project lifecycles.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on strategic objectives.
• Leads diverse projects and ensures efficient operations.
• Manages vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.
