Job summary

Anchor Home in Baltimore County, MD is seeking a Program Director to lead quality and compliance across Residential, Day, and Personal Supports, partnering with the COO to advocate for the people we serve.

This leader supervises Program Managers, drives performance and growth, builds family and stakeholder partnerships, and promotes person-centered practices while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Services, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• 6+ years of IDD services experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build relationships with families, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and performance across all programs (Residential, Day, Personal Supports, etc.).
• Drive program quality, staffing, incidents, and compliance.
• Supervise Program Managers and conduct performance reviews and scorecards.
• Develop training programs to enhance staff skills and leadership capabilities.
• Identify growth opportunities for team members and succession planning.
• Lead corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor Program Managers to cultivate high-performing teams.
