Job summary

Moog is seeking a Director of Production Engineering & Resilience to lead the unified organization responsible for the operational health and continuity of Moog's enterprise applications across commercial, sales & services, operations, finance and planning.

This onsite role is based in Buffalo, NY, reporting to the Senior Director of Architecture & Engineering, with a focus on BAU and future ERP/MES platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business or a related discipline.
• Over eight years of IT experience in application management, service and product ownership, with over three years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience transforming organizations during programs, not just awareness of transformation.
• Experience managing vendor relationships with SLA enforcement, contract negotiation, and performance management.
• Direct experience owning IT budgets at team or function level - planning, forecasting and targets.
• Ability to design org structures, define roles, and build teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite; hybrid/remote not possible.

Responsibilities

• Own operational health and continuity of current- and future-state ERP, MES, QMS, and sidecar applications, setting and enforcing SLAs for BAU support, incident response, upgrades and patching.
• Manage ERP/MES handoffs from the program through hypercare to BAU, defining exit criteria, RACI, and escalation paths.
• Design and lead a unified organization, including team structure, roles, reporting lines, and capacity model.
• Build and retain a high-performing team across Application Management, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
• Own third-party managed services, define SLAs, KPIs, governance reviews, and vendor negotiations for scale.
• Own the full budget and drive cost optimization while preserving resilience.
• Serve as the single technology contact across business groups and manage structured escalations.
• Manage portfolio risk and compliance, maintaining risk registers and ensuring regulatory obligations.
