Moog is seeking a Director of Production Engineering & Resilience to lead the operational health, continuity, and continuous improvement of Moog's enterprise applications supporting multiple business functions. The role oversees current state platforms and the future ERP/MES environment, ensuring seamless transformation and readiness for business-as-usual operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering, business or related discipline.
• 8+ years IT experience in application management, service/product ownership, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading transformation programs.
• Experience managing vendor relationships with SLA enforcement, contracts, and performance management.
• Direct experience owning IT budgets at the team or function level.
• Ability to design org structures, define roles, and build teams.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area or willing to relocate.
• Hybrid/remote work schedule is not possible for this position.
• Preferred: ERP/MES experience in manufacturing; aerospace/defense background; PMP/ITIL; Master’s or MBA.

Responsabilités

• Own operational health and continuity of current- and future-state ERP, MES, QMS, and sidecar applications, setting and enforcing SLAs for BAU support, incident response, and upgrades across the portfolio.
• Receive ERP/MES platforms from the program as they exit hypercare and own the RACI, exit criteria, and escalation paths.
• Design and lead the unified organization, including team structure, roles, reporting lines, and capacity model.
• Build and retain a high-performing team across Application Management, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.
• Own third-party managed services partners end to end.
• Define and enforce SLAs, KPIs, and escalation paths; run governance reviews; lead negotiations with Procurement.
• Own the full budget and drive cost optimization while maintaining resilience.
• Serve as the single accountable technology contact for operating groups across functions.
• Manage portfolio risk and compliance.
• Maintain a current risk register; mitigate end-of-life risks.
