Job summary

MaxLinear is seeking a Director of Product Engineering to lead and mentor a high-performance hardware and software team through design, validation, and manufacturing readiness. You will drive product lifecycle excellence, define KPIs, collaborate across functions, and own yield, cost of test, and testability initiatives while shaping the organization strategy for CMOS RF/ mm-wave products.

You will oversee silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, and production releases, ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience releasing products on advanced CMOS process nodes (16nm and below).
• Deep knowledge of mm-wave, RF, mixed-signal and CMOS logic.
• Experience with ATE such as Verigy and Teradyne.
• Experience using data analysis software to generate characterization reports.
• Experience recruiting, managing, and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and mentor engineering talent while fostering technical excellence.
• Drive transition of products from design to manufacturing and own manufacturing performance.
• Lead product bring-up, silicon validation, and production release activities.
• Define strategy, goals, KPIs, and resource plans aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate across functions to optimize yield, testability, and manufacturability.
