Job summary
MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Staff Device Engineer to lead R&D in semiconductor device engineering, focusing on RF/analog and digital applications. Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in EE or related field with relevant experience.
- 7+ years (BS) / 5+ years (MS) / 2+ years (PhD) in device engineering or related roles.
- Experience in semiconductor device design, SPICE modeling, high-frequency measurements, and EM simulation.
Responsibilities
- R&D in semiconductor device engineering including device characterization for RF/analog and digital applications.
- Design test structures for device layout and PDK development for CMOS, SiGe BiCMOS, HV/BCD.
- Extract SPICE model parameters for active/passive devices, interconnects, and substrates.
- Collaborate with IC design, DEA/CAD groups to develop PDKs and IPs.
- Collaborate with foundry teams to review process tech, device characteristics, and reliability.
