Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership, driving key strategic decisions, roadmaps, and architectural developments for mixed‑signal designs across global teams
• Collaborate with IC designers and system engineers to develop high‑performance analog and mixed‑signal circuits for next‑generation products
• Recruit, mentor, and develop top engineering talent, fostering a high‑performance culture
• Drive collaboration with support teams (CAD, technology, and digital) to enhance productivity across the organization

Qualifications

• Extensive technical expertise in data converters, with hands‑on IC tape‑out and productization experience
• Strong ability to translate high‑level specifications into block‑level design requirements
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience providing customer‑facing support throughout product development and release‑to‑production phases
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 13 years of experience, or MS + 11 years, or Ph.D. + 8 years

Compensation & Benefits

MaxLinear offers a total compensation philosophy that includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus, with many positions also including stock‑based compensation. Salary ranges for the role: Southern California: $143,600 to $222,985 annually; San Francisco Bay Area: $159,200 to $247,135 annually. Benefits include health care, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and paid time off.
