Glean is seeking an experienced Product Design leader to build and grow our design organization, oversee the design of our product, and elevate the end-user experience for billions of interactions with AI. You’ll mentor design managers, product designers, content designers, and researchers to drive strategy, process, and excellence across product areas.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership coaching and managing performance in Product Design, Content Design or UX Writing, and UX Research.
• Experience at high-growth or late-stage B2B tech companies managing managers.
• Strong portfolio showing impact on business through design work.
• Hands-on, collaborative leader with ownership and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience sourcing, interviewing and onboarding design talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product designers, researchers, and content designers to meet company goals while maintaining quality.
• Refine and lead design processes and standards at Glean.
• Mentor designers and managers, setting clear performance expectations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure strategic alignment and metrics.
• Craft a long-term design strategy and articulate product vision through design.
• Foster a thriving, safe, and high-quality design culture across the team.
