Job summary

Door Controls USA is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing across our manufacturing operations in Ben Wheeler, Texas. This leadership role focuses on obtaining materials and services at the best balance of cost, quality, and risk to support growth and profitability.

You’ll guide a team, build strong supplier relationships, and drive improvements in the procurement process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leading and developing teams.
• Demonstrated success negotiating supplier agreements and managing strategic relationships.
• Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen with ERP experience.
• Experience with global sourcing, multi-location manufacturing, or CPSM/CSCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that support growth and profitability.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risk.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Inventory, Finance, and Sales.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance for informed sourcing decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement with reporting, scorecards, and process optimization.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies.
