Job summary

USAA is seeking a Director of Business Process Ownership to lead a team responsible for end-to-end process ownership, requirements gathering, process documentation, and sustaining controls across the enterprise.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to identify gaps, justify improvements, and implement initiatives using Agile, Six Sigma, Lean, and Waterfall while maintaining risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education/experience.
• 8 years in business process execution/consulting/optimization.
• 3 years direct team lead or management experience.
• Experience with process management methodologies in regulated environments.
• Strong organizational agility and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team focused on process ownership and improving results.
• Define backlog with enterprise partners and secure funding.
• Develop performance metrics and use data to drive improvement.
• Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with policies.
• Apply Agile, Six Sigma, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Oversee recruitment, development, and performance of staff.
• Stay current with emerging technologies to drive improvement.
