Job summary

BNY is seeking an Engineering Lead for Portfolio Performance Reporting in New York. You will guide the design, development, and delivery of scalable reporting solutions that measure portfolio performance with accurate data and transparent outputs.

You will mentor engineers and drive best practices, AI-enabled development, and automated workflows to improve efficiency. In this role, you will collaborate with product, data, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensure reliability

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering or technology delivery.
• Experience leading engineering teams or major workstreams.
• Strong understanding of reporting platforms and data integration.
• Experience with AI-based development practices and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of portfolio performance reporting solutions for Wealth Management.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Oversee development, enhancement, and support of reporting platforms, data pipelines, and applications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of portfolio performance data and outputs.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Promote strong software engineering practices, testing, release management, and operations.
• Support AI-based development tools to improve productivity and solution quality.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and advanced analytics in reporting workflows.
• Support risk, controls, governance, and compliance across the reporting environment.
