BNY Mellon is looking for a Senior Vice President AI/ML Software Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of innovative AI systems in New York, NY. This role involves building autonomous AI pipelines and guiding a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality extraction accuracy that impacts financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in software engineering, especially in AI/ML systems, along with strong leadership skills to mentor engineers and oversee the development of cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading or technically mentoring engineering teams.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of AI systems.
• Own the technical vision for a multi-agent ecosystem.
• Mentor and grow a team of 4–8 engineers.
