Apple Inc. is seeking a Director of Product Management for Platforms (Apple Store Online) to drive the Platform team responsible for content, asset, product information, and syndication systems powering Apple’s online store.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in Technical Product Management or Engineering Management roles.
• 7+ years senior management building and leading large, technical, globally distributed teams.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalently technical degree.
• Experience shaping multi-year strategy and roadmap for e-commerce platforms across business goals, customer needs, and architecture.
• Deep hands-on technical fluency; read complex system designs, engage with engineers on web technologies, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Understanding of modern e-commerce platforms: microservices, payments, catalog/inventory, scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year re-platform initiative for the e-commerce platform and define capabilities for future customer-facing features.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Digital Content Management to design end-to-end platform workflows.
• Modernize architecture, challenge assumptions, and ensure stability of a multi-billion-dollar business.
• Drive architectural decisions for scalability, reliability, and performance across services and data pipelines.
• Influence senior stakeholders across business units and geographies to realize a unified product vision.
