Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Director of Infrastructure & Platform to lead the team delivering secure, reliable environments for Defense & Systems software. You’ll set the platform roadmap, govern the golden-path pipeline, and drive a product-minded approach to platform services across cloud, on-prem, and edge contexts.

You will shape operating models, partner with Cyber Security, and ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency while removing undifferentiated infrastructure work from product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 3 years leading technical teams.
• Military experience equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure & Platform team with clear objectives.
• Own team performance, culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Remove obstacles and coach problem-solving at point of work.
• Operate the platform as a product with backlog, roadmap, SLAs.
• Govern the golden-path pipeline and standard work across teams.
• Partner with Cyber Security to embed security by default.
