Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Director of Infrastructure & Platform who will lead a team responsible for secure, scalable environments used by Defense & Systems software delivery. The role sets the platform roadmap, governs CI/CD pipelines, and partners with Cyber Security to embed security by default, ensuring dependable, on-time software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering/IT.
• Minimum 3 years leading technical teams.
• Military experience equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure & Platform team with clear role clarity and objectives.
• Own performance and develop a culture of ownership and flow.
• Operate the platform as a product with defined roadmap and SLAs.
• Ensure a single golden-path delivery pipeline and governance for changes.
• Partner with Cyber Security to embed security best practices and plan Phase 2 headcount.
