Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with minimum 7 years of professional experience OR Associate's degree with minimum 10 years OR High School Diploma with minimum 12 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure & Platform team with clear role clarity and standard work.
• Own the team’s performance and create a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove obstacles, coaching problem-solving at the point of work.
• Mandate a single golden-path delivery pipeline (CI/CD, environments, shared services) adopted by all product teams.
• Operate the platform as a product with a backlog, roadmap, SLAs, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security to bake security best practices into the platform and plan DevSecOps headcount.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure across cloud, on‑premises, and edge in a defense context.
• Set operating rhythm (daily management, WOR, MOR) to keep reliability and delivery managed.
• Partner with product development teams to align platform capabilities with current and future needs.
• Represent Infrastructure & Platform in Tech Ops cadence and align platform roadmap to enterprise baselines.
• Coordinate with Architecture & Data to keep patterns and guardrails aligned.
