Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Director, Pharmacist - Strategy and Performance to lead a team shaping enterprise pharmacy strategy across the pharmacy and medical benefits. You will oversee drug contracts, network contracting, and financial performance.

Collaborate with Pharmacy Clinical Leadership, Finance, Actuary, and PBM partners to improve drug trend management and maximize value for members and clients.

Qualifications

• Requires active CA Pharmacist license.
• PharmD from an accredited U.S. school.
• 10+ years in managed care/pharmacy benefit management or related settings.
• 6+ years of people management experience with direct reports.
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation experience.
• Knowledge of PBM, formulary, and network programs.
• Vendor partnerships and contract operations experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen with pharmacy strategy development.
