UPMC is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead operations across hospital sites, ensuring safe and efficient pharmaceutical care. You will drive automation, resource optimization, and formulary oversight while supporting staff development and education across the service lines.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, regulatory compliance, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care.

Formación

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• 5 years of inpatient pharmacy leadership or equivalent.
• Pharmacy residency (PGY-1) preferred for leadership track.
• Master’s degree in pharmacy administration or healthcare management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct daily pharmacy operations aligned with patient care needs, goals, and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, coach, and develop managers, pharmacists, and technicians.
• Guide implementation and optimization of pharmacy systems and automation.
• Optimize operational resources and analyze utilization to drive efficiency.
• Lead change initiatives to align with hospital and service line goals.
