Job summary

LIPA seeks a Director, Performance Assessment and Process Optimization to lead enterprise performance management and continuous-improvement initiatives. The role partners with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and other functions to translate strategic priorities into measurable metrics and practical improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, public administration, analytics, or a related field.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in utility industry, enterprise performance management, operations, process improvement, analytics, or related field.
• Ability to translate strategy and contractual requirements into measurable objectives and improvement plans.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise performance management, KPI and scorecard design, benchmarking, process optimization, and continuous-improvement methodologies.
• Advanced analytical and data-literacy skills to synthesize large data sets and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and governance of performance measurement frameworks aligned with strategic priorities.
• Negotiate and assess performance metrics with partners and regulators.
• Establish a structured process-optimization program and track benefits.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and provide forward-looking analysis.
• Develop executive dashboards and actionable recommendations for senior management.
