Job summary

Brown & Brown in the United States seeks a Director of Team Resources to lead TR Business Partners across the Retail segment, aligning human capital strategy with growth, margins, and scalability. The role drives organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development while fostering culture and inclusion.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and Employment Practices to ensure compliant practices and data‑driven decisions, guiding leadership through change and expansion.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in business or HR related field preferred.
• SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• 15+ years of strategic leadership across functions directing substantial resources.
• Proven success leading TR teams across talent acquisition, workforce development, and training.
• Demonstrated partnerships with Finance, Technology and business leaders for workforce planning.
• Prior insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead TR Business Partners for division presidents and senior leaders; translate strategy into human capital plans.
• Oversee organizational design, workforce planning and compensation alignment to support growth and margins.
• Drive talent strategy, succession planning, learning initiatives, and internal mobility.
• Collaborate with Employment Practices and Legal to maintain compliant policies and risk mitigation.
• Lead M&A integration and change leadership to retain critical talent.
