Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Director of People Business Partner to partner with senior Marketing leaders, driving strategic HR initiatives that improve performance, engagement, and manager effectiveness. The role emphasizes using data to inform people solutions and programs and will report to the SVP/VP People Business Partner.

The incumbent will lead change management and collaborate across a broad set of stakeholders, including executives, to align HR strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in strategic HR interfacing with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with a metrics-driven approach.
• Ability to turn analytics into actionable business insights.
• Ability to synthesize complex situations into actionable insights for business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of key people processes (talent and performance management).
• Coach and develop leaders with insights on people, teams, and organizational growth.
• Use data insights to identify trends and influence decisions for talent and engagement.
• Collaborate with Employee Relations to address escalations and recurring people issues.
• Analyze organization effectiveness using data and feedback to assess capability and alignment with strategy.
• Build consensus among stakeholders, including executive leadership, on new ideas and strategies.
• Lead change management initiatives for successful adoption of organizational changes.
• Provide continual feedback to understand and predict implications of HR policies.
