Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Director of People/HR Business Partner to partner with senior Marketing and People leaders. You will design and implement strategic HR initiatives, improve manager effectiveness, and drive engaging employee experiences.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, organizational effectiveness, change management, and a global mindset. You will report to the SVP/VP People Business Partner and impact PayPal’s people strategy across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a strategic HR role interfacing with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and metrics-driven approach; ability to synthesize complex situations into actionable insights for business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of key people processes, including talent and performance management.
• Coach and develop leaders, offering insights on people, teams, and organizational growth.
• Use data insights to identify trends and influence evidence-based decisions for talent attraction, performance, and engagement.
• Collaborate with Employee Relations to address escalations and recurring people issues.
• Analyze organization effectiveness using data and feedback to assess capability and alignment with strategy.
• Build consensus among stakeholders, including executive leadership, on new ideas and strategies.
• Lead change management initiatives for successful adoption of organizational changes.
• Provide continual feedback to understand and predict implications of HR approaches and policies.
