Columbia Hospitality seeks a Director of Payroll to provide strategic leadership and governance for payroll across hotels, resorts, and managed properties. You will lead a high-performing team, ensure accurate payroll processing, and drive compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions.

The role partners with Finance, HR, and external vendors to align payroll with company objectives, automate processes, and maintain robust controls while supporting growth and diversification of properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading payroll in a multi-state environment.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership of payroll teams.
• CPP designation is a plus; Dayforce experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute payroll strategy across a multi-state portfolio.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for diverse populations.
• Lead system implementations and process automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and audits.
• Partner with Finance, People & Culture for accurate reporting.
