Job summary

DEXTEROUS is seeking a Director of Payments and Risk Operations to lead risk strategy and operations across a B2B vertical SaaS platform in the United States. You will own the full risk lifecycle, scale operations with AI and automation, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed risk controls in payments and onboarding flows.

The role requires 7+ years in payments risk leadership, hands-on risk across processing and disbursements, and a growth-focused, data-driven mindset to deliver

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading payments risk in vertical SaaS, marketplace, or fintech.
• 3+ years hands-on risk across processing, ACH, and disbursements.
• Experience designing AI-powered decisioning or fraud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payments risk and operations strategy.
• Develop fraud prevention and loss mitigation capabilities.
• Evaluate and optimize AI-powered risk platforms.
• Lead and develop a high-performing payments risk operations team.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed risk controls.
• Develop risk analytics and real-time portfolio insights.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Security, Finance, Revenue and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements and bank expectations.
• Apply AI to improve work with strong ownership of quality.
