Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Payment Operations Analyst to own end-to-end payment workflows, resolve exceptions, and improve reliability as our money platform expands across core payroll, contractor payments, international transfers, and new offerings.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, Accounting, Risk, and CX, drive root-cause analyses, and push for operational excellence while embracing AI to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations, banking operations, treasury operations, or a related role at a fintech or financial institution.
• Working knowledge of domestic payment rails (ACH/Nacha, wires, RTP) and/or international money movement; cross-border experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical instincts with data querying/structuring abilities; SQL is a plus.
• Experience with bank portals, payment processors, or reconciliation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end payment workflows and investigate/resolve exceptions with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and participate in launches.
• Close the loop on customer pain by identifying friction in payment flows and driving improvements.
• Think in systems, connecting rails, partners, reconciliation, compliance, and customer experience.
• Hold partners to a high standard by triaging issues with banks and payment partners; drive timely resolutions.
• Lead with AI to accelerate analysis, drafting communications, and automating repetitive tasks.
