Job summary

You will shape risk coverage for new capabilities, manage the team, and partner with product, engineering, and finance to deliver dashboards and controls that inform decision-making and scale with AI-forward tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payments or fintech, with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of payments stack: onboarding, underwriting, processing, settlement, reconciliation, disputes.
• Proven track in fraud/risk – detection, monitoring, controls.
• Commercial mindset to balance risk and growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the risk strategy for payments; align with VP of Payments.
• Own day-to-day risk operations, escalation workflow, and incident readiness.
• Partner with product/engineering and finance to embed risk into roadmap and reporting.
• Lead automation and tooling initiatives to scale risk management.
