JPMorganChase in Seattle seeks an Applied AI ML Director in the Commercial & Investment Bank to own end-to-end AI/ML solutions for payments, from problem framing to production deployment. You will lead strategy and collaborate across product, engineering, data, risk, and compliance to deliver impactful results.

Demonstrated expertise in NLP, graphs, vision, and classical ML, with a track record deploying production-ready models and driving platform-wide impact within payments.

Qualificações

• PhD in applied AI/ML or MS with 8+ years of experience.
• Production-ready ML/NLP solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Strong Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with document extraction and NLP techniques.
• SQL and distributed processing with Spark or equivalents.
• ML deployment in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI/ML problems in payments, from opportunity sizing to production rollout.
• Define evaluation strategies and success metrics, including offline validation and online measurement.
• Establish model lifecycle practices: reproducibility, testing, drift detection, and incident response.
• Partner with risk and compliance to ensure documentation, controls, and audit readiness.
• Drive technical decisions via design reviews, code reviews, and pragmatic standards.
• Communicate tradeoffs and business impact to senior stakeholders.
