Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Applied AI/ML Lead within Wholesale Payments Operations to build and deliver enterprise AI/ML solutions that improve efficiency and decisioning. You’ll frame problems with senior stakeholders, design and deploy production services on AWS, and mentor engineers while driving cross-team roadmaps.

You will work with NLP, document processing, and LLM workflows, ensuring governance, monitoring, and responsible AI practices across scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 years of professional AI/ML experience delivering production systems.
• 4 years of advanced Python development in production.
• 4 years of deploying production ML systems on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3).
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions with measurable business outcomes at scale.
• Experience with object‑oriented design, distributed systems, and performance engineering.
• Experience deploying LLM-based applications with retrieval-augmented generation and fine-tuning.

Responsibilities

• Frame problems with senior stakeholders and align AI/ML roadmaps to business priorities.
• Lead architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI/ML solutions.
• Write clean, production-quality code and set engineering standards.
• Champion modern software development life cycle and DevOps practices.
• Deploy and operate AI/ML services on AWS at scale.
• Design scalable data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Enforce MLOps, model governance, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
