Job summary

Mark Anthony Group is seeking a Director of Packaging Operations in Glendale, AZ to lead end-to-end packaging in a high-speed brewery. You will drive strategic plans, oversee budgets, and build high‑performing teams across Packaging, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.

The role requires 8+ years in packaging/ brewing with strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, in Packaging, Food Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced technical expertise in the Brewing Alcohol industry, with bottling, canning, quality control and sanitation.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, process optimization and innovation within the Brewing industry.
• Strong leadership skills, empowering initiative in high‑stress, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving, including navigating customer situations tactfully.
• Proficient to advanced level of office software for documentation and data analysis.
• Sustain physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift light objects regularly.
• Frequent operation of various office machines.

Responsibilities

• Drive the relentless implementation of a strategic plan through the development of autonomous and high‑performing teams that manage packaging operations on a 24/7 schedule.
• Identify opportunities for optimization using data, propose innovative solutions, and streamline workflows to reduce waste.
• Develop and deploy transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing packaging processes and efficiency.
• Diligently monitor departmental budget performance, implementing corrective actions for year‑on‑year improvement.
• Oversee capital planning to ensure effective allocation of resources for packaging operations.
• Lead strategic planning for Packaging and articulate priorities to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve packaging efficiency, sustainability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Foster safety and quality as cornerstones of the operating plan; mentor and develop staff across the site.
