Job summary

CenCore is seeking a Director of Operations and Training, based at Fort Meade, Maryland, to lead day-to-day readiness and operations across all project sites of an IC access control program.

The leader reports to the Program Manager and partners with a second Director governing corporate interface and customer relations. The role ensures site performance and IC security protocol compliance while developing a compliant training program for a cleared workforce.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing government or intelligence access control operations.
• 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing SCA personnel in a secure environment.
• Proven experience supporting IC clients with ICD 705, TEMPEST controls, and badge-access protocols.
• Strong knowledge of physical security practices, contractor onboarding, post operations, and IC security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational readiness and execution across all program sites while ensuring compliance with agency SOPs, ICD 705, IC clearance protocols, and customer security requirements.
• Direct SCA-compliant staffing models, including scheduling, post coverage, and shift management for 24/7/365 operations.
• Oversee development of site supervisors, training coordinators, access control leads, and personnel in Access Control, Visitor Services, the Operations/Communications Center, and CST.
• Design and manage a training program tailored for IC mission environments, covering post orders, secure access protocols, and counterintelligence awareness according to SOW and customer directives.
• Oversee onboarding, badging, refresher training, and maintain audit-ready training documentation and certification records.
• Run a QA program with quarterly audits, post evaluations, corrective action plans, and responses to customer inspections.
