Job summary

ICF is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join on-site at Fort Meade, MD. You will lead cyber range operations, advising on DCO/OCO activities and translating mission objectives into live event environments.

You will collaborate with senior cyber operators, provide SME guidance on architecture, authentication, and system security, and participate in on-call rotations while delivering robust IT and network support.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant work experience.
4+ years with CNO, CNE, and CND platforms.
5+ years supporting cyber training and CPTs.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+, CCNA, CISSP).
US citizenship required.
Security clearance required with polygraph eligibility.
Strong networking knowledge including DNS, routing, TCP/IP, troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft technologies, AD, Security Onion, VMware.
Hands-on with RHEL IdM and LDAP/SAML-SSO.

Responsibilities

Lead as advisor for cyber range operations supporting DCO/OCO for USCC.
Collaborate with cyber operators to provide range expertise for USCC and components.
Translate training objectives into executable event environments.
Design and execute cyber range events and scenarios.
Provide SME in architecture, authentication, and system security.
Participate in regular on-call rotation.
Lead continuous process improvements across event activities.
Deliver expert IT, virtual environment, and network support.
