Job summary

AMIkids White Pines in Jonesville, SC seeks a Director of Operations to lead Youth Care Specialists and direct care Supervisors, ensuring programs run safely and in compliance with policies.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate staffing, supervise activities, and promote Positive Youth Development while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. A Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience, two years preferred.
• Experience in educational or youth services program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth and staff following policies, serving as advisor and role model.
• Coordinate daily staffing to maintain required youth-to-staff ratio.
• Oversee program activities and field trips ensuring ratios meet requirements.
• Enforce safety and security policies; conduct searches as needed.
• De-escalate incidents and communicate with leadership.
• Train and develop team members; provide feedback and growth.
• Participate in recruitment and liaise with internal/external stakeholders.
