Job summary

AMIkids Tampa seeks a Director of Operations to provide leadership to the Youth and direct care team, ensuring alignment with program policies and safety procedures. The role includes supervising youth in a safe environment and assisting in day-to-day program operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, overseeing activities, implementing the AMIkids growth model, and maintaining required youth-to-staff ratios while traveling to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience, two years preferred.
• Experience in educational or youth service program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth and staff following policies and procedures, acting as advisor and role model.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedule to maintain required youth-to-staff ratios.
• Oversee program activities and field trips per contractual requirements.
• Enforce safety and security policies, conduct searches as needed.
• De-escalate incidents and communicate with leadership as required.
