AMIkids seeks a Director of Operations to lead Youth Care Specialists and supervise program staff, ensuring safety, policy adherence, and alignment with established operations. You will help manage day-to-day operations, coordinate staffing, and support youth in a secure environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with stakeholders, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and education for youth served by AMIkids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required or related field.
• Minimum supervisory experience; educational or youth-service background preferred.
• Experience working with troubled youth is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise youth and staff per policies, serve as a positive role model.
• Coordinate daily staffing and ensure required ratio coverage.
• Oversee program activities, field trips, and safety protocols.
• De-escalate incidents and follow approved methods; notify leadership.
• Implement AMIkids Way and Positive Youth Development elements.
• Ensure safe environments and productive learning toward goals.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing training and feedback.
• May liaise with internal and external stakeholders; travel to other locations if needed.
• Recruitment participation and driving as required by policy.
