Job summary

Genie Recon. is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee multi-site production systems and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead through managers, build scalable operational standards, and own capacity and capital planning to meet customer commitments.

You will translate business objectives into actionable plans, supervise managers, and develop bench strength while ensuring OSHA and environmental compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years in manufacturing or production operations.
• At least three (3) years managing managers or department leaders.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Ability to build and improve operational systems and drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational systems and scheduling frameworks.
• Develop 30/60/90-day and annual operational plans aligned to objectives and financial targets.
• Lead capacity planning to align throughput, labor, equipment, and space with production needs.
• Drive standardization of processes, work instructions, and quality standards across production areas.
• Evaluate and enhance systems by analyzing performance data and implementing corrective changes.
• Own capital planning for equipment, tooling, and facility improvements; manage budgets and investments.
• Ensure safety management system and regulatory compliance across the facility.
• Monitor KPIs and develop leadership across the operations organization.
