Job summary

DISA Technologies seeks a Director of Operations to lead Casper, WY site operations from engineering handoff through build, commissioning, and customer support. You will direct supply chain, production, technicians, and project management teams, scaling equipment manufacturing in a high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in operations leadership, proven ability to scale production and deliver projects, and strong quality and project controls experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in equipment manufacturing or industrial technology
• Proven track record scaling production or project delivery teams in high-growth environments
• Direct experience managing cross-functional teams spanning supply chain, production, technicians, and project management
• Experience implementing quality systems (NCR/CAPA, FAT, inspection, manufacturing records) and project controls (scope, cost, schedule)
• Experience owning engineering-to-operations handoffs (BOM management, design releases, technical deviations)
• Background in site/facility leadership including safety culture, 5S, and compliance ownership
• Familiarity with capacity planning across labor, shop loading, and long-lead materials
• Customer-facing experience such as commissioning or field service
• P&L-adjacent accountability preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site Casper campus operations and oversee Westminster, CO facility.
• Direct budget accountability and performance.
• Oversee safety, compliance, 5S, and maintenance.
• Manage Supply Chain, Production, Operations Technicians, PM, and H&S teams.
• Staffing, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and mitigate risks.
• Oversee Engineering-to-Operations handoffs and BOM accuracy.
• Coordinate with Engineering on manufacturability feedback.
• Engage with customers, investors, and tours.
• Provide KPI-based leadership reporting to executives.
