Job summary

Reframe Systems, a Physical AI and robotics company, seeks a Head of Operations to scale manufacturing and field operations. You will own the transition from a single prototype facility to a high-volume multi-site production network, overseeing P&L, throughput, labor efficiency, and quality targets.

You will lead a tech-enabled operations team, institutionalize S&OP and KPI dashboards, and drive continuous improvement while expanding workforce across shifts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operations leadership experience, including ownership of large-scale facility launches or ramps.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and managing Plant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and operation leads during rapid workforce growth.
• Proven ability to build operational infrastructure from scratch and scale teams across multiple sites.
• Deep experience with software, automation, MES tools, and physical assembly integration.
• Strong analytical rigor and metrics systems to inform executive decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for interaction with investors, board, and floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition from prototype facility (FAB0) to new 100,000 sq ft production facility (FAB1) and scale to multi-site operations.
• Own factory P&L, throughput targets, labor efficiency, quality metrics, and unit cost reductions.
• Build the organizational playbook, SOPs, and management infrastructure for multi-facility production.
• Oversee Plant Manager and supervision structure to ensure production plans translate to high-quality homes.
• Institutionalize daily/weekly management rhythms, KPI dashboards, and S&OP processes.
• Drive CI, QA/QC gates, safe operations, and robust CAPA processes across sites.
• Own supply chain procurement, inventory, vendor relationships, and real-time margin tracking.
• Sponsor MES and factory-floor software initiatives; translate floor data into product/engineering priorities.
