Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations in the Miami area. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic direction to ensure consistent service, quality, and profitability.

The ideal candidate has extensive multi-unit hospitality experience, strong financial acumen, and a track record of building high-performance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in multi-unit restaurant management with a proven track record.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage a large workforce.
• Financial acumen with budgeting, P&L, and cost control.
• Willingness to travel between locations and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistent performance and brand standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Managers and General Managers; recruit and train staff.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance; monitor labor and food costs.
• Ensure health, safety and quality standards; conduct regular audits for compliance.
• Enhance guest experience; monitor service speed and quality to meet expectations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, growth, and resource optimization.
• Oversee inventory management and supplier relationships; drive cost efficiency.
• Provide performance reporting to senior management with improvement plans.
• Support expansion and new openings; ensure operational readiness and integration.
