Temposonics, LLC, a part of Amphenol, seeks a Director of Operations in Cary, NC to lead all manufacturing activities, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure on‑time, quality product delivery. The role oversees budgeting, staffing, and cross‑functional collaboration to sustain excellence in operations.

Responsibilities include translating strategy into manufacturing plans, directing production and safety programs, and developing metrics to improve cost, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing operations experience; plus, minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision.
• Must have demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement across a broad level/scope.
• Ability to apply process improvement tools to achieve significant quality, cost, productivity, and cycle time improvement.
• Ability to build relationships, lead cross‑functional teams, and build consensus among a large group.
• Proven ability to successfully solve complex business and technical problems.
• Experience in developing BOMs with MRP systems.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing standards, practices, and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Translates the implications of the strategy on manufacturing, sets direction and develops short‑and‑long‑range plans to meet business strategies and goals.
• Direct and monitor production managers to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
• Direct and monitor EHS and Facilities Manager to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing, overall building operation and safety procedures.
• Establishes annual operating budget and manages against that budget. Monitors performance, directs corrective action and continuous cost improvements for all areas, including labor, expenses, assessments, and capital.
• Responsible for the on‑going management and development of assigned employees. Determines staffing and skill requirements to meet departmental needs, and implements plans to satisfy those requirements.
