Job summary

Bay Advanced Technologies, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, seeks an Operations Director to lead manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution. You will champion safety, drive KPI‑based improvements, and manage cross‑functional teams to meet targets while controlling costs and maintaining quality.

The role includes strategic planning, business development collaboration, and oversight of ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in operations or general management in tech manufacturing/distribution.
• Proven history in managing complex supply chains and high‑mix low‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, Lean, and Quality Management Systems; leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations.
• Meet production targets cost‑effectively while maintaining quality.
• Implement KPIs and drive productivity improvements via Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen.
• Develop and execute strategic plans; identify growth opportunities and partnerships.
• Oversee ERP/MRP systems optimization and stay current with industry tech trends.
