Bay Advanced Technologies, an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, is seeking an Operations Director to lead the Newark, CA site, aligning operations with corporate strategy and driving profitability. You will steer manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution, ensuring safety and quality while pushing for KPIs and cost improvements.

Role requires 10+ years in operations, strong P&L experience, and familiarity with ISO, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in operations or general management in tech manufacturing/distribution.
• Proven experience managing complex supply chains and high‑mix low‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and Lean manufacturing; strong leadership and communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead, oversee, and align all operational functions across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals; identify growth opportunities.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; monitor costs and implement savings.
• Lead, mentor, and develop cross‑functional teams and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners; negotiate contracts as needed.
• Oversee ERP/MRP and other operational systems; stay updated on industry trends.
