New Concept Tech in Pennsylvania seeks a Director of Operations with a strong engineering background to lead manufacturing and engineering teams, drive efficiency, quality, and profitability, and shape strategic growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or process engineering is required.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior management or director-level leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success managing engineering teams and cross-functional manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience leading engineering projects, capital improvements, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Experience managing budgets, operational performance, and financial metrics.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, manufacturing software, engineering systems, and business analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Drive engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Lead new product introductions, manufacturing optimization, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Monitor operational, engineering, financial, and quality metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, engineering standards, and best practices.
  • Manage budgets, capital planning, and resource allocation for growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity through Lean initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and partners.
  • Prepare and present operational and strategic performance updates to leadership and the Board.

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead our manufacturing and engineering organizations. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations while developing and executing long-term strategies that improve efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide direction for Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other operational functions while driving engineering initiatives that support innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and business growth.

Requirements
