Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Bellingham seeks an experienced Operations Director to own the location’s operational and financial performance. You will lead daily operations, vendor management, and member retention while building scalable systems for future growth.

This leadership role requires strong budgeting, financial reporting, and the ability to implement SOPs that sustain growth independent of the founder.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a business unit, location, branch, or revenue center.
• Demonstrated ownership of a P&L, budget, or financial performance metrics.
• Experience building operational systems and processes from the ground up.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and navigate challenges through direct communication.
• Availability to work on-site in Bellingham.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Manage budgets and monitor spending against financial goals.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts receivable and delinquent account resolution.
• Support pricing decisions within approved guidelines.
• Own member retention and revenue retention results.
• Develop processes for identifying and retaining at-risk members.
• Analyze churn trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead exit interview and retention review processes.
• Create strategies that improve long-term member engagement and loyalty.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Manage vendors, supplies, inventory, access systems, and safety protocols.
• Create, document, and continuously improve SOPs.
• Ensure the location operates efficiently and independently of founder involvement.
• Develop operational dashboards and performance reporting.
• Track key business metrics and provide scorecards.
• Document systems and processes for future locations.
• Lead operational planning for expansion/relocation initiatives.
