Job summary

Lab Alley LLC, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Director of Operations to bridge execution and strategy across Supply Chain, Product, Production, Shipping, and Fulfillment. You will drive end-to-end efficiency, safety, and compliance while collaborating with the CEO and senior leaders to scale logistics infrastructure and leverage data-driven insights.

You will lead a cross-functional organization, owning KPIs such as on-time delivery, throughput, and system performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operations leadership in a high-growth setting.
• Experience leading multiple departments (supply chain, product, production, shipping, fulfillment).
• Data-driven with strong KPI tracking and analytics mindset.
• Regulatory and quality standards focus; commitment to safety and sustainability.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Strong communication and executive reporting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations & Cross-Functional Teams to drive on-time delivery and stock readiness.
• Guarantee on-time delivery and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Define Strategy & Operational Excellence with the CEO and leadership team.
• Partner on Tech & Process Innovation to modernize systems and dashboards.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to align goals and drive scalable growth.
