Hi-Peak Staffing Solutions LLC seeks a Director of Operations for its commercial roofing division in the Denver area. This senior leadership role requires 10+ years in commercial roofing (new construction and re-roofing) and a proven track record managing project teams, budgets, and schedules.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor project managers and field teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery while driving growth and profitability.

Salary: $150,000 Base + Performance Bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join a well-established commercial roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex new construction and re-roofing projects.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished commercial roofing professional with 10+ years of experience in commercial roofing new construction, re-roofing, and operational leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, managing large-scale commercial roofing projects, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This individual will oversee daily operations, provide strategic direction to project management and field leadership teams, and play an instrumental role in the company's continued growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for commercial roofing new construction and re-roofing projects.

• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, superintendents, field supervisors, and production teams.

• Provide operational oversight of multiple large-scale commercial roofing projects simultaneously.

• Establish and maintain production schedules, manpower plans, budgets, and project timelines.

• Monitor project performance, profitability, labor productivity, and overall operational efficiency.

• Work closely with sales, estimating, and project management teams to ensure successful project transitions and execution.

• Identify operational challenges, implement solutions, and continuously improve internal processes.

• Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Oversee resource allocation, workforce planning, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination.

• Drive accountability across departments while fostering a positive, results-driven team environment.

• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, organizational development, and long-term business growth.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial roofing experience, with substantial exposure to both new construction and re-roofing.

• Proven leadership experience overseeing commercial roofing operations, project management teams, and field personnel.

• Strong background managing large-scale, complex commercial roofing projects.

• Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, and other low-slope applications.

• Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, labor resources, and operational profitability.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, safety regulations, and quality control.

• Experience developing and leading teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing multiple project managers, superintendents, and field crews across several concurrent projects.

• Knowledge of standing-seam metal roofing, architectural metal systems, and specialty roofing applications.

• Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily new construction projects.

• Background implementing operational improvements, scaling teams, and improving company profitability.

• Experience managing multimillion-dollar project portfolios.
