Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking a seasoned Operations Leader to organize and direct regional janitorial services across multiple sites in the Minneapolis area.

You will ensure contract compliance, drive quality service, manage client relationships, and oversee billing and safety programs while coordinating with site teams to meet deadlines and performance targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multi-unit, high volume Operations Leadership within Commercial Janitorial space.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and control operational activities across division, to achieve specified cost and profit objectives and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications across our clients.
• Assure the delivery and execution of all contracted janitorial services within the division.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all client locations.
• Maintain frequent communication and contact across all client sites via phone calls, emails, and site visits.
• Work closely with supervisors and managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities.
• Continuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes as needed.
• Work directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely manner.
• Comply with all GDI safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate any employee accidents or near misses.
• Partner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material, supplies and equipment.
• Negotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs.
• Work with sales team to develop and grow the business / represent the GDI brand.
• Oversight of all employees in the region with direct supervision of all employees reporting to sites within territory including but not limited to Area Managers, Account Managers, and Cleaners.

Summary:
