Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services in the United States is seeking an experienced on-site Janitorial Supervisor to oversee, train, and direct staff while ensuring a safe work environment and meeting customer quality expectations. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 4pm to 12am, and requires 3+ years of supervisory experience with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
• High level of integrity and professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train janitorial staff in the building.
• Assign shift and area work responsibilities.
• Manage employee relations and performance issues promptly and appropriately; document and report concerns to management or HR.
• Review employee timekeeping records to ensure compliance with timekeeping rules and complete payroll documentation to ensure employees are paid accurately.
• Inspect the job site regularly to identify quality concerns or project work needs; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for special project work to management.
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment as needed (e.g., buffer, walk-behind scrubber, spot carpet cleaner).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete all required training courses.

Summary
