Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking an on-site Janitorial Supervisor for the Pittsburgh area. You will oversee, train, and direct on-site janitorial staff to maintain a safe, clean environment and meet customer quality expectations.

Summary:

Oversee, train, and direct on‑site janitorial staff to ensure a safe work environment while consistently meeting or exceeding customer quality expectations.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (4pm - 12am)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and train janitorial staff in the building.
• Assign shift and area work responsibilities.
• Manage employee relations and performance issues promptly and appropriately; document and report concerns to management or HR.
• Review employee timekeeping records to ensure compliance with timekeeping rules and complete payroll documentation to ensure employees are paid accurately.
• Inspect the job site regularly to identify quality concerns or project work needs; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for special project work to management.
• Operate floor‑cleaning equipment as needed (e.g., buffer, walk‑behind scrubber, spot carpet cleaner).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete all required training courses.
