Job Overview: The Director of Operations provides leadership and accountability for corporate owned (OpCo) Long John Silver’s restaurants. The role involves working closely with the VP of Restaurant Operations and Area Supervisors to develop effective operational strategies for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze operations by applying brand standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Ensure management meets or exceeds these standards.
• Conduct regular visits, provide feedback, execute the Annual Operating Plan, and recommend solutions for underperforming restaurants.
• Partner with Training and Marketing teams on new store openings and sales opportunities.
• Implement and monitor operational initiatives and brand standards.
• Collaborate with HR to attract, develop, and retain top talent; conduct bench planning.
• Ensure proper training systems are in place and utilized effectively.
• Focus on improving Quality and Service by developing effective communication and conducting audits.
• Drive turnaround plans for underperforming restaurants and monitor budgets.

Willingness to travel 70+% is required.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in Business or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience as a Director or Area Supervisor in Quick Service or Fast Casual Restaurants.
• Serv-Safe certification required or willing to obtain.

• Deep understanding of restaurant operations.
• Proven leadership in developing teams.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, BOH, and HRIS platforms.
• Valid Driver’s License and meeting travel policy requirements.

Physical Requirements & Travel:

• Stand, walk, communicate, handle objects, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel up to 70% to restaurants.
