Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis seeks a Director of Operational Excellence to lead the Aerospace Operating System implementation for the site. You will coach leaders, orchestrate strategic improvement, and embed AOS deeply across the organization.

You will expand AOS across Engines & Power, align leadership, drive Kaizen events, and champion Lean and Agile methods to deliver measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven project management experience in Lean or operational excellence.
• 4+ years leading Lean manufacturing or change projects.
• Strong Lean and Agile knowledge with AOS experience.
• Master Practitioner level of competency in Lean tools.
• Experience organizing Kaizen events and improvement workshops.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with central AOS to define future path for launching and expanding AOS.
• Drive AOS adoption within ES including roadmap and coordination of activities.
• Align with leadership to ensure adoption of AOS priorities and templates.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and organize Improvement Events.
• Manage or lead strategic business challenges to deliver performance improvements.
